Seriaal on pöörane, põnev, dramaatiline ja ootamatu. Selles on draamat, inimestevahelisi suhted ja probleeme, armastust, samas ka komöödiaelemente ning situatsioonihuumorit. Esimesel hooajal olid tegelased ajateenistuses, vahepeal möödus neli aastat ja teisel hooajal saavad samad tegelased kokku reservväelaste õppekogunemisel. See tähendab õppekogunemine uuestikohtumist, see on võimalus põgeneda igapäevarutiinist. Nelja aasta jooksul on mehed on mehed jõudnud selleni, et peavad tegema oma elus mingisuguseid valikuid, nad saavad astuma argielust sammu kõrvale et järele mõelda.
