Visiting family in West Virginia (and after finishing the filming of the One Mile arrange Test video) we were out driving around looking for things to drone and Kristi saw this bridge off in the distance. How she saw it is beyond me but she said, “Pull over!” I pulled over and she told me there was a bridge a ways down the creek (Bull Creek off Route 2) and asked me to get some drone footage of it. This bridge was really a hidden treasure. As I was flying the drone, she noticed a West Virginia State Trooper pull up behind our truck and she spoke with him. He thought we may have been broke down or something and saw our Florida plates and asked if he could help us. Once Kristi told him what we were doing he said there was no problem with this at all and was about as friendly as could be. I landed the drone a few minutes after he pulled up and we carried on a really good conversation for at least 20 minutes. He was actually knowledgeable about drones and the rules.
