Today we conduct a DJI Mini 2 Battery Test Flight and try to fly for 5 miles. How far can the Mini 2 fly on one battery? We took our DJI Mini 2 drone out for a really tough challenge. How far can the DJIMIni2 go on only one battery? Will it make the 5mileflighttest at low altitude or will it #crashandburn with no hope of making the #flight? Kristi’s going to be in #hotpursuit of “Jack” (our mini2 drone) while I put him through his paces and try to fly for over 5 miles on a single battery charge. These little drones are supposed to be able to fly way more than 5 miles, but can he do it on such a windy day? We had steady winds in the high teens and low 20’s, and wind gusts in the 30s and honestly, I wasn’t sure what the outcome was going to be for this test. Not to mention the unexpected amount of traffic on a normally deserted country road.
