Our DJI Mini 2 return to home problem solved? For some reason, our DJI Mini 2 drone returns home sideways. When we hit the return to home button, Jack (our DJI Mini 2 Drone) turns 90 degrees and flies home sideways instead of coming home facing the home point. We’ve been baffled about this ever since we hit the return to home button the first time several months ago. We posed the question to you guys last week and asked if anyone had the same problem and if you were ever able to have the problem solved. We received a couple comments informing us that an IMU calibration may help correct the orientation of the drone on the return home flight. We did some research and found out what the IMU actually is. IMU means inertial measurement unit and what it does is it uses gyroscopes, accelerometers and magnetometers within the unit to detect changes in rotational attributes like pitch, roll and yaw as well as acceleration. I’m not sure what any of that really means.
