Am Freitagabend ist große Eislaufparty angesagt. Und weil Jesse diesmal keine Zeit hat, geht Samantha mit dem schüchternen Mason zur der Party. Die beiden amüsieren sich köstlich, und Samantha gibt Mason einen Kuss. Das Ganze geschieht aus der tollen und gelösten Stimmung heraus. Am nächsten Morgen denkt Samantha trotzdem, Jesse betrogen zu haben. Auf den Rat ihres Vaters Tony spricht sie mit Jesse, der sehr viel Verständnis zeigt – ihr aber anschließend den Laufpass gibt.
Because of a job he has to do Jesse can't go out with Sam and suggests she should go out with Mason instead, who's living there for a short time after he has been thrown out of his room. After a great evening Sam gives Mason a fatal kiss which means the end of the relationship with Jesse after he has learned about it.
Mason a tellement travaillé pour son examen final qu'il n'a pas pu faire les devoirs de l'équipe de foot. Il est jeté hors du dortoir à trois heures du matin, en pyjama. Mason vient demander à Tony s'il ne pourrait pas venir dormir par terre dans la chambre de Tony pendant quelques nuits. Tout en dépliant un sac de couchage, Mason déclare à Tony qu'il n'est plus amoureux de Samantha...
