Law & Order

1990

A blended police procedural and courtroom drama which employs a two-part approach: The first half of each episode focuses on NYPD homicide detectives investigating a crime—often derived from a real-life headline—and apprehending a suspect. The second half takes place in the courtroom, with the district attorney prosecuting the defendant.

New York Undercover

Filmed on location in New York, NYU is a show about a squad of young urban detectives, J.C. Williams and Eddie Torres who work the streets of New York undercover. Despite all the pain and troubles they go through with their lives, whether it involved their cases or home life, at the end of the day, they relax to the smooth music performed by different artists at Natalie's. Audiences fell in love with the show's plot lines and characters. The episodes had a realistic sense about it that made it one of the top ten shows that aired on fox. Season 1: In this season, Malik Yoba plays Detective J.C. Williams, a black man who is trying to put his life back in order after his divorce from ex-wife, Chantal, played by Fatima Faloye. He is also trying to be a good father to his son, Gregory "G", (George O. Gore II) who is going through the motions of growing up and becoming a teenager.

Exiled: A Law & Order Movie

1998

Exiled: A Law & Order Movie is a 1998 television film based on the Law & Order police procedural and legal drama television series; it originally aired on NBC. Written by Charles Kipps (from a story by Kipps and Chris Noth), the film revolves around Noth's character, Detective Mike Logan. Set between the fifth and sixth episodes of the ninth season.

The series stars Bebe Neuwirth (Cheers, Chicago) as Assistant District Attorney, Tracey Kibre and Amy Carlson (NBC's Third Watch) as Assistant District Attorney, Kelly Gaffney. Reprising his Law & Order role will be Fred Dalton Thompson as District Attorney Arthur Branch and the late Jerry Orbach as Lennie Briscoe, a retired police detective working as an Investigator for the District Attorney and Kirk Acevedo (“Band of Brothers”) also stars as Briscoe’s partner, DA Investigator Hector Salazar.

"Conviction", a legal drama from Dick Wolf (˜Law & Order'-brand series), focuses on young assistant district attorneys in New York as they struggle with a demanding case load that challenges their lack of experience. Although this is not a spin-off of any "Law & Order" show, this show still takes place in that universe, proven by Stephanie March returning as ADA Bureau Chief Cabot from "Law & Order: SVU".
