女子高生の初子は、鉄骨が落下するという事故で死亡、幽霊となってしまう。ところがそれは彼女の勘違いで、実際には鉄骨と一緒に落下した弁当箱が頭に当たっただけだったのだ。彼女の前に現れたもう一人の幽霊・弦之丞はその勘違いを指摘し、彼女に元の肉体に戻るよう説得する。しかし幽霊となったことに、彼女は夢中になってしまう。
