La Virginia, una chica decepcionada de varias relaciones sentimentales fracasadas, decide ser madre soltera y se propone encontrar el hombre ideal para convertirlo en padre de su hijo. En su investigación tendrá que decidirse entre tres candidatos: Gabriel, un escritor bohemio en horas bajas y antiguo compañero de instituto; Miguel, su nuevo jefe en empresa en la cual trabaja, y Daniel, el marido de su mejor amiga.
