2014년 4월, 진도 앞바다에서 세월호가 침몰하는 모습을 온 국민이 생중계로 지켜보았다. 이 비극은 304명의 사망한 승객 중 가족과 친구가 있는 사람들의 마음에 평생의 상처를 남겼습니다. 이들 중 대부분은 수학여행을 갔던 고등학생이었습니다. 그들의 부모는 의회와 시청, 청와대 앞에서 야영을 해야 했기 때문에 눈물을 흘릴 여유조차 없었습니다. 단 한 가지, 자녀를 죽게 내버려 둔 진실을 알기 위해서였습니다.
