A principios de los noventa el director Daniel de la Vega comenzó a filmar una película sobre Luis Dimas y la transición, pero problemas económicos convirtieron el rodaje en algo interminable. Estrenada tardíamente en 1998, Takilleitor es toda una curiosidad y de algún modo un documento: un filme donde Luis Dimas comparte la pantalla con investigadores, trasnochadas fanáticas y extraterrestres no puede ser precisamente algo normal.
