Für Sina Andri geht ein Traum in Erfüllung. Als junge Helikopterpilotin erhält sie eine Stelle bei der Rega. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Sie muss ihre Probezeit auf der Basis in Samedan absolvieren. Von dort ist Sina in ihrer Jugend geflüchtet, nachdem sich ihr erster Freund das Leben genommen hatte und man ihr die Schuld daran gab. Durch Sinas Rückkehr kommen bei den Beteiligten die Erinnerungen wieder hoch. Eine neue Tragödie bahnt sich an.
