Camilo va a ser ordenado sacerdote pero, durante la ceremonia, se siente mal. El doctor le diagnostica una extraña enfermedad incurable y solo le quedan seis meses de vida. Sus dos tías beatas y solteronas, Socorro y Angelines, sienten una gran pena por no ver a su sobrino como sacerdote, así que deciden buscarle una mujer para formar una familia y que tenga un hijo que, con el tiempo, sea sacerdote.
