An evil woman named Rubella Slime and her brothers Bugsy and Weasel are out to destroy Valentine's Day by spreading hate to everyone. It is up to Sam Cupid and his cupid crew to make sure love is spread around. Rubella, Bugsy and Weasel test her Hate substance on Cosmo Cupid, which immediately makes him act hostile, arrogant and terribly evil. Late that night, Bugsy and Weasel enter Cupid Labs to pour lots of "hate" into the "pool of love" potion and when the cupids shoot their arrows at people, they turn evil. Sam & Cosmo stop all the hate with a new love laser gun that shoots beams of love, turning hateful people into nice people. It isn't long until Sam and Cosmo burst in on Rubella Slime and stop Rubella's evil plot by shooting an arrow at Rubella.
