Mit 17 Jahren gewann Boris Becker Wimbledon. Tennistalent Sascha (Fabian Harloff) kann sich in diesem Alter nicht einmal Trainerstunden leisten. Erst als er dem arroganten Newcomer Uwe einige Asse serviert, bietet sich Ex-Champion Bruno (Manfred Zapatka) als Coach an. Tatsächlich spielt sich Sascha bald schon von Sieg zu Sieg. Doch er lernt schnell die Schattenseiten des Ruhms kennen.

Boris Becker won Wimbledon at the age of 17. Tennis talent Sascha cannot even afford coaching lessons at this age. Only when he served the arrogant newcomer Uwe a few aces does ex-champion Bruno (Manfred Zapatka) offer himself as a coach. In fact, Sascha soon played his way from victory to victory. But he quickly gets to know the dark side of fame.
