Michael Collins

Michael Collins was born on October 31, 1930 in Rome, Lazio, Italy. He was married to Patricia Mary Finnegan. Crew member on Gemini 10 (1966) and Apollo 11 (1969) missions. He was the command module pilot for Apollo 11, the mission that landed the first men on the moon (he stayed in orbit around the moon during the landing). Later he was the Director of the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. He died on April 28, 2021 in Florida, USA.
