Aaron Houston

Played a central role in many notable victories for drug policy and criminal justice reform in the United States. As a marijuana legalization strategist, largely responsible for shaping and guiding to enactment the current — and only — federal medical marijuana law (the Farr amendment). Oversaw the work of a global staff that coordinated 3,000 activists on more than 200 college campuses. Named a “Rising Star of Politics” and an influencer by Campaigns & Elections Magazine. Appeared on NBC’s Today show, The Colbert Report, FOX News, CNN, and NPR. Efforts on Capitol Hill chronicled in a 2007 Showtime original documentary, In Pot We Trust, among other documentaries about national politics.
