複雑な事情を抱えた家族が本物の家族になるために奮闘する。結婚式で新郎に逃げられた過去を持つ理紗（宮崎あおい）は、父・俊作（松重豊）、母・真知子（松坂慶子）と3人暮らし。ある日、理紗は恋人の幸太郎（瑛太）を両親に紹介するが、俊作は自分の元部下で現在は上司の幸太郎が娘の交際相手だと知り、戸惑う。
