安长夏自幼被拐至人间炼狱，成为半魔莫迦续命的药。在得知自已仅剩七天寿命时，她历尽艰难险阻，终于逃回家中却发现。爹娘早已有了新的女儿安思夏，养女琴棋书画样样精通，长夏却样样不通，过去十年她学到的，只有杀戮。回家曾是她在七宝阁的炼狱里活下去的希望，可回到家，养女仗着与爹娘的宠爱欺辱陷害，下人踩低捧高，爹娘也疏离生分。安思夏屡设陷阱，莫迦几次三番纠缠要挟，安长夏誓要找回會经的温暖，让一切重新开始。在白月光顾思昭的帮助下，她查明当年被拐真相，却不想一夜之间家破人亡。第七天，长夏的最后一天，莫迦告诉她续命咒的破解法就是将全城人变成傀儡，吸取他们的精魂。面对存活的抉择，关键时刻，长夏还是牺牲自己，救下所有人，死在莫迦手里。
