  • S01E01 Guns at Tortuga Bay

    Slate Shannon, an American expatriate living in Trinidad, runs a hotel and travels in a boat called Bold Venture. He cares a ward named Sailor, the daughter of a late friend. Shannon is a detective and deals with baffling cases. Slate Shannon is commissioned to transfer unidentified cargo from a Caribbean steamer to Jamaica in his sloop "Bold Venture". He and Sailor witness a murder before they learn the nature of the mysterious cargo- contraband guns. The gunrunners plan on forcing Shannon and Sailor to land the guns and then kill the couple.

    Jan Viborg, a criminal, makes a false affidavit, which causes the British authorities to revoke Sailor's visa. Slate Shannon saves his ward Sailor Duval from a frame-up. Slate needs maps to clear Sailor of theft charges. By signing a false deposition, thug Ian Vilborg frames Sailor in a theft. He tells Shannon he will retract the deposition only if he steals an aluminum company maps of Caribbean bauxite deposits. Shannon gets the maps, finds himself in a bigger jam than Sailor’s.
