When Yuma and Kyanna meet in Alice Springs, they realise they could be long lost twins and decide to swap lives with Kyanna heading with her father to Sydney and Yuma trekking to an outback community where she meets her mother for the first time.
Yuma and Kyanna decide to try to live each others' lives for one week but have trouble adjusting to unfamiliar people and surroundings. While Kyanna is faced with an important history test, Yuma finds herself helping Aaron with a video project about bush tucker.
Yuma finds herself in the uncomfortable position of having to try out for the new girls football team, while Kyanna, although missing home, becomes closer with her brother, who isn't sure his sister hasn't been replaced by an alien.
