Na história, Maribel Pharmaco é uma dona de casa, mãe de 2 filhos, que adere a todos os procedimentos de beleza e dietas com os quais se depara. Agnaldo, o marido, trabalha em uma grande farmácia, responsável pelas promoções. Com o microfone em punho, ele utiliza todo o seu potencial para vender medicamentos e galantear as consumidoras. No entanto, o grande sonho do protagonista é ser locutor de rádio.
