Flugten til Nordjylland

I de sidste måneder af Anden Verdenskrig flygter millioner af tyskere fra det krigshærgede land. Fra februar til april 1945 ankom omkring 250.000 flygtninge til Danmark. Blandt dem var flygtningebørnene Katrin, Klaus og Peter, der blev isoleret i flygtningelejre i Hjørring. Kun Katrin og Peter vendte hjem igen.
