La grande novità di "Tante scuse" di Sandra e Raimondo, andato in onda in 7 puntate nel 1974, consisteva nel fatto che la trama autoironica era tutta costruita intorno alle difficoltà che si è costretti ad affrontare costruendo uno spettacolo di varietà. Scritto da Raimondo Vianello insieme a Italo Terzoli ed Enrico Vaime, "Tante scuse" era diretto da Romolo Siena, che interveniva direttamente durante gli sketch con la sua voce
