First harbor of the Kingdom in Southern France near Montpellier, the fortified city of Aigues-Mortes has an incredibly rich history and is beautifully preserved. Blending historical fiction, aerial views and spectacular CGI , this docu-fiction tells the story of the foundation of the harbor by King Saint Louis. A strategic location which became the departure gate to the seventh and eigth Crusades.
