Riley breaks up a romance between daughter Babs and Tex, a singing cowboy. Shortly thereafter, he is asked by his boss to get a cowboy singer for an upcoming office party. Frantically Riley tries to reunite Babs and Tex, in order to corral the singer for the party and his boss' favor.
