Scooter tritt seine neue Stellung am Theater an, selbst nachdem Kermit erfahren hat, dass Scooters Onkel das Theater gehört. Rolf und Baskerville singen das Lied vom Gasmann. Wayne und Wanda geben den Indianer-Love-Song zum besten. Jenifer freut sich in einem Country-Song darüber, dass er ein Junge vom lande ist. Als Wachmann in einer Bäckerei wird er von Rolf und den anderen Muppets auf’s Kreuz gelegt. Jim Nabors, der Gaststar, ist ein bekannter Country-Sängner und Komiker in den USA.
A young kid named Scooter applies for a job as a gofer. When, Kermit tells him he looks nothing like a gopher, Scooter explains that he’ll go-fer coffee and sandwiches among other things he’ll go-fer. Kermit says he doesn’t have the money pay him, but then Scooter lets in that his uncle owns the theater.
Kvällens gäst är sångaren och komikern Jim Nabors. En ung man vid namn Scooter söker jobb som Kermits assistent. Kermit försöker att förklara för honom att han saknar pengar för att anlita en assistent. Men när Scooter berättar att det är hans farbror som äger teatern, kommer han snabbt på andra tankar.
