After "making his bones," Vinnie moves up in the Steelgrave family when Sonny gives him Tony's old waterfront action. The pressure is on Sonny when "Pat the Cat" Patrice insists on installing accountant Sid Royce in the office to keep an eye on his interests, and to balance the power, Philly's "No Money" Mahoney insists Sonny find a place for his man, Harry "the Hunch." As if he doesn't have enough to worry about, there's a new district attorney who plans to make a name for himself by bringing Sonny down. Sonny and Vinnie are arrested for attempted murder when someone shoots at the DA and throws the gun to Sonny.
Après avoir " fait ses preuves ", Vinnie s'installe dans la famille Steelgrave quand Sonny lui donne l'ancienne action de Tony sur le front de mer. La pression est sur Sonny quand ""Pat the Cat""" Patrice insiste pour installer le comptable Sid Royce dans le bureau afin de garder un œil sur ses intérêts et d'équilibrer le pouvoir, le " No Money " de Philly. Mahoney insiste pour que Sonny trouve une place pour son homme, Harry " l'intuition ". Et comme s'il n'avait pas assez de soucis, il y a un nouveau procureur qui a l'intention de se faire un nom en faisant tomber Sonny. Sonny et Vinnie sont arrêtés pour tentative de meurtre lorsque quelqu'un tire sur le procureur et jette l'arme sur Sonny.
Nach dem Tod von Dave Steelgrave beginnen die Ermittlungen gegen das organisierte Verbrechen in Atlantic City. Sonny gerät unter Druck und es werden ihm aus den eigenen Reihen Sid Royce und Harry Schanstra als Aufpasser geschickt, die auch Vinnie kontrollieren.
