Twenty-something Helene leads a chaotic life between daydreams and her job as a kindergarten teacher, where she becomes friends with the stubborn Madlen. Recently terminated, Helene is looking for a new perspective and finds it even more difficult to assert herself in front of her influencer friend Maike. She tries to compete with her by telling lies. This includes an alleged romance with the musician Oskar. When arranging a first meeting with him, she is not completely honest.
