Première femme à obtenir le titre de médecin en Allemagne en 1880, Hope Bridges Adams-Lehmann devra néanmoins attendre jusqu’en 1904 pour qu’il soit reconnu. Elle ouvre un cabinet à Francfort et met un point d’honneur à venir en aide aux patients pauvres. Pionnière du combat féministe, elle s’insurge contre le sort réservé aux femmes. Le parcours émouvant d'une personnalité hors du commun.
