Today (Australia)

The new-look Today (Australia) at 7.00am is co-hosted by Karl Stefanovic and Tracy Grimshaw, joined by Leila McKinnon presenting the Today news. Originally from Brisbane, Stefanovic was a reporter and back-up presenter for National Nine News in 2000. In 2002, his exclusive reports on the NSW bushfires led to his appointment to the Nine newsroom in Sydney. In 2003, Stefanovic was posted to Los Angeles and last year, as well as reporting for Nine in North America, he returned home to guest-host Today with Tracy Grimshaw who has co-hosted the program since 1996. Grimshaw joined Channel Nine's Melbourne newsroom in 1981 and has reported and presented for National Nine News both here and overseas. She has also hosted the network's continuous coverage of major events such as the rescue of Thredbo survivor Stuart Diver in 1997 and the death of Princess Diana a month later.
