Hooper, bezwzględny przywódca najeźdźców, co roku zabiera większą część mrówczych zapasów zimowych. Pod koniec lata niepoprawny wynalazca Flik, usiłując unowocześnić pracę społeczności, topi zbiory w głębokiej wodzie. Wkrótce gang Hoopera zjawia się po swą należność.
