Il a traversé son siècle de comédien avec la modestie de l'artisan. Il croyait à l'apprentissage, au savoir-faire et à la transmission. Et s'il a su s'emparer des meilleures tirades d'Audiard, c'est à cet apprentissage qu'il le doit.
