Rin Davies was the victim of a hate crime in Albany, New York. Because he was wearing a rainbow sticker on his car, it was smashed and the words "fag" and "u r gay" were written on the driver's window. Despite the initial anger and embarrassment, Erin decided to quit the graffiti and take her car, now known around the world as the "fagbug", on a 58-day trip around the United States and Canada. Along the way, Erin discovered other, more serious hate crimes.
