長崎県佐世保市の第二西海橋連結式へ出張する一之助のお伴のはずの伝助は、長崎営業所の久保田達也（金子昇）の案内で大村湾へ直行。そこで達也の恋人・河口美鈴（伊東美咲）に紹介され、米軍の“釣りバカ”ボブ（ボビー・オロゴン）とともに、九十九島でイカ釣りを楽しむ。美鈴の父・輝男（尾崎紀世彦）に、達也は美鈴との結婚を申し入れるが、問答無用で殴られてしまう。一方、ボブたちとしこたま飲んだ伝助が目覚めると、なんとアメリカ艦隊のイージス艦の中だった!?
