아들 은찬을 잃은 성철과 미숙은 아들이 목숨을 걸고 구한 아이 기현과 우연히 마주친다. 슬픔에 빠져있던 성철과 미숙은 기현을 통해 상실감을 견뎌내고, 기댈 곳 없던 기현 역시 성철과 미숙에게 마음을 열어간다. 그러던 어느 날, 기현의 예상치 못한 고백은 세 사람의 관계를 뒤흔든다.
