Ce bateau parti de Bretagne il y a 7 ans, s'était donné pour mission de sillonner les mers sans emprunter les passages artificiels (canal de Panama, Suez...) tout en servant de camp de base aux sportifs, aventuriers et scientifiques. Les missions se sont enchainées et les Lost In The Swell avaient profité du passage de Maewan en Patagonie pour dénicher quelques vagues isolées.
