Después de que los miembros de Misterios S.A. echasen a perder un caso al atrapar a un hombre inocente, se ven obligados a retirarse de las investigaciones criminales. Pero, al poco tiempo, su viejo amigo Vincent Van Ghoul necesita ayuda, así que consigue que el equipo vuelva a la acción. Todo comenzó un verano cuando Scooby-Doo, Shaggy y Daphne cazaron en secreto a 12 de los fantasmas más espeluznantes del mundo, aunque no pudieron pillar al más malvado de todos... al fantasma número 13. Con el 13º fantasma suelto, la pandilla tendrá que ver más allá de los secretos ocultos y resolver algunos asuntos pendientes.
A prologue set before ''The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo'' depicts a young List of Scooby-Doo characters#Vincent Van Ghoul and his partner Mortifer hunting down and successfully sealing the final ghost into the Chest of Demons. Mortifer however is attacked and seemingly killed by minion ghosts as a tearful Vincent makes his escape. Scooby-Doo (character) would eventually accidentally reopen the chest but would catch all but one with the help of his friends Daphne Blake and Shaggy Rogers. The final ghost, still at large, seeks to release its counterparts and take control of the planet.
Depois de finalizar um caso e prender um homem inocente, a turma da Mistério S/A é forçada a se aposentar precocemente e abandonar a solução de mistérios. No entanto, não demora muito para que seu velho amigo, Vicent Van Doido, necessite de ajuda e a equipe entre em ação.
Ein Prolog vor „Die 13 Geister von Scooby-Doo“ zeigt eine junge Liste von Scooby-Doo-Charakteren: Vincent Van Ghoul und sein Partner Mortifer, die den letzten Geist jagen und ihn erfolgreich in der Truhe der Dämonen einschließen. Mortifer wird jedoch von Schergengeistern angegriffen und scheinbar getötet, während der weinerliche Vincent flieht. Scooby-Doo (Charakter) öffnete die Truhe schließlich versehentlich wieder, fing aber mit Hilfe seiner Freunde Daphne Blake und Shaggy Rogers alle bis auf einen. Der letzte Geist, immer noch auf freiem Fuß, versucht, seine Gegenstücke freizulassen und die Kontrolle über den Planeten zu übernehmen.
