Alongside his stage work, von Brömssen has had a significant film career, appearing in productions such as The Man from Majorca, My Life as a Dog, and All Things Fair, the last of which earned him a Guldbagge Award. He has remained an important cultural figure in Gothenburg, was named Gothenburger of the Year in 1995, and has appeared in popular TV series like Saltön. In recent years, he has continued to stay active in theatre, taken part in new productions, debuted in a musical, and shared his passion for the clarinet with audiences.
