Cat Ellington

American multidisciplinary artist Cat Ellington (b. Kimberly Monique Hart on November 28, 1970) is well-known for her prolific work in music, film, and literature. Boasting a creative career spanning 40+ years, Ellington, primarily a songwriter/composer and music producer, is the sole lyricist of a 1981-born 24-genre song catalog that includes R&B, pop, polka, calypso, jazz, etc. In the film industry, where her career began in 1993, she is a voice-over actress, production assistant, and noted executive casting director. Her debut work is the multi-award-winning thriller film "Dual Mania," a project for which she also served as the primary soundtrack writer. In the literary industry, Ellington is notable for her work in the craft of literary criticism, which began in 1979, including research, language arts, and poetry. Since 2018, she has produced an impressive bibliography extending over two dozen published titles.
