Un père et une fille divisés par un secret douloureux, un mystère à résoudre, une histoire de renaissance. Nous sommes à Carloforte, une île de l’île, lieu magique en Sardaigne où de nombreuses personnes, ancrées dans les traditions, continuent de travailler le thon capturé dans une mer très claire et profonde. Un endroit confortable où tout le monde se connait, semble s'aimer, s'aider et où ils ont tous l'air aussi clair et net que cette mer. Une île où un médecin, un pédiatre, un homme est le point de référence d’une petite communauté dans laquelle tout semble immobile.

Elena Sereni returns to her hometown of Carloforte, a city on an island in Southern Sardinia, after hearing that her father, a pediatrician named Pietro Sereni, had last been seen rushing into a fiery blaze that killed four high school students.
