For our latest mission we brought the movie Back To The Future to life in a public plaza near the Met Life Clock Tower in Manhattan. A time traveling Delorean suddenly appeared, and Doctor Emmett Brown leaped from the vehicle to warn Marty McFly and Jennifer Parker that they were about to see themselves from ten minutes in the future, the consequences of which could be disastrous. Moments later a second Marty and Jennifer (played by identical twin actors) arrived on the scene.
For our latest mission we drove a replica Jurassic Park Jeep through the streets of New York. Actors dressed like the characters from the film asked random New Yorkers for directions to Jurassic Park, eventually finding a T-Rex in Brooklyn's Prospect Park.
For our latest mission we recreated the famous fake orgasm scene from When Harry Met Sally with actors dressed as Harry and Sally and 20 additional couples in Katz's Deli. When Sally's fake orgasm began, 20 additional women (on dates with 20 men) joined in one by one, creating an over-the-top surprise for the Katz's employees and patrons. This was staged without the knowledge of the restaurant, though thankfully they all seemed to love it.
For our latest mission, we sent an 11-year-old actor dressed as Harry Potter into New York's Pennsylvania Station to search for Platform 9 3/4. Harry wandered the station with a caged owl and a luggage cart and asked both strangers and transit employees how to get to the Hogwarts Express, presenting them with his Platform 9 3/4 ticket.
For our latest mission we staged the iconic "I am Spartacus!" scene from Spartacus in a Manhattan Starbucks. I ordered a drink and gave the name "Spartacus." When the barista called the name, a group of 20 men stood up one-by-one proclaiming to be Spartacus. The real punchline arrived at the end, when a man dressed as a Roman slave arrived to claim the beverage. The scene was produced without the knowledge of the Starbucks.
For our latest mission, we recreated the famous "triple dog dare" scene from A Christmas Story on an NYC subway car. Instead of licking a flagpole, our character licked a subway pole. Using a prosthetic tongue with a magnet inside, we were able to get his tongue to appear stuck to the pole, much to the surprise of New Yorkers on the train.
For our latest mission, we brought Spider-Man to life by having a stunt performer in costume jump off a 20-story building in Midtown Manhattan, surprising the random New Yorkers on the street below.
