中山七里原作の「弁護士・御子柴礼司」シリーズを要潤主演でドラマ化。どんな依頼人でも必ず勝たせる悪魔の弁護士・御子柴(要)による法廷劇と、罪と向き合う御子柴の苦悩を描く。御子柴の事務所での仕事を紹介された洋子(ベッキー)は、事務員として就職後、御子柴がかつて凶悪犯罪を犯した“元少年A”であることを知る。
