Philip pays Amy a surprise visit while she's still upset by memories of Nick vowing to remain in Pine Valley. Phil unnerves Amy when he asks questions about her once dating Nick and wonders why Nick never married. Mona dismisses Nick's assertion that Linc is jealous of him and may have reason to be. Tara joins Phil and Amy. They complain about Erica, and Phil disturbs Amy when he recalls the frosty exchange between Erica and Nick Davis the night Nick dropped by unexpectedly and interrupted Erica's tirade. Nick admits to Mona that he wants forgiveness for walking out on a pregnant Amy nineteen years ago, and the only person who can forgive him is Philip. Phil and Tara enjoy a walk in the park, and Tara wonders how long their happiness is going to last. Erica comes home and catches Nick giving Mona a friendly kiss. After Nick and Erica exchange insults and Nick and Mona leave, Chuck notes that Nick upsets Erica the same way Phil does....
