Police believed they were dealing with a serial killer as week after week another teenage boy was found strangled and dumped in a remote area off of a freeway. They received their first break in the case when a teenage boy in custody came forward and claimed he knew who the killer was. Detectives determined that this person was a viable suspect and while searching his van, found blood that matched one of the victims.
