Years later, Alaeddin once again comes face to face with those mysterious eyes that saved his life in the past. Today, however, Destina stands before him as an enemy and tries to hide her true identity to protect Kalonoros and those she loves. At the Konya Palace, the balance of power begins to shift. Anna’s entry into the palace’s inner chambers is a clear challenge to Melike. Alaeddin’s return to the palace accompanied by Destina further heightens the tension. The encounter between Melike and Destina—who enters the palace as a prisoner—marks the first step in the conflict that will unfold between the two. Meanwhile, Alaeddin sets out in search of those responsible for the ambush set up against him. In Kalonoros, with no news of his children, Kir Vard once again calls upon the powerful warrior Andreas—whom he had kept at a distance for years—to serve him. Now, everyone in the palace has a secret they’re hiding, someone they’re trying to protect, and a goal they hope to achieve.
