DIY hydraulics controlled by Arduino-esk electronics

This is a simple micro-controller brain that controls a hydraulic valve. It reverses the valve when it sees the pressure spike in the crushing equipment. This allows it to automatically clear jams. I want to adapt this to a homemade log splitter. I've never built a logsplitter; please post any stories/ideas/questions you have. Big rocks get broken down with great bloody maul, get jammed into the hammer mill, are gravity fed to the rod mill. The rod mill grinds the 1/4" minus ore into 50 mesh, the oversize comes out the classifier and get re-ground, the 50 mesh minus slurry gets pumped to the shaker table. The shaker separates the particles according to specific gravity; gold, silver, lead, copper, iron on one end, shmoo on the other. Just something I whipped together on a lazy Sunday after church.
