I searched "synth expert" and used someone's image/likeness in a derogatory and completely unwarranted way. It turns out the "synth expert" is Das Ding, a very nice fellow with great tunes. He absolutely is a synth expert, but in the good way! (time to sign up for Adobe Stock, I reckon)
