Something in the Air

Dylan se učí, protože se chce dostat na universitu v Berkeley. Donna má být dočasně vyloučena a nemá být připuštěna k maturitě. Martinovi se nechtějí odvolat. Brandon zjišťuje, že z Donny chtějí jen udělat odstrašující případ a zorganizuje demonstraci studentů.

Donna is suspended, and must enroll in summer school before she can graduate. Felice refuses to appeal the ruling because she is worried about her own reputation. Donna changes her mind by reminding her that her husband and Donna forgave Felice for her past mistakes. Brandon is disgusted by the students' apathy, and Gil encourages him to take action on Donna's behalf. Brandon convinces the entire senior class to walk out on finals as a show of solidarity. Dylan doesn't want to participate because he has set his sights on making it into the University of California-Berkeley. The juniors join the protest after Brandon agrees to add the elimination of a proposed dress code to the demands. Everyone (including Dylan) walks out on finals and marches to Donna's hearing. They stand outside shouting, 'Donna Martin graduates!' Despite a plea from Felice and threats from the superintendent, hundreds of students enter the building. At the urging of a surprisingly reasonable board member, the school board votes to let Donna off with a minor penalty, allowing her to attend commencement and graduate with her friends. A l'approche des examens de fin d'année, la tension monte de plus en plus. D'autant que Donna reste toujours passible d'xpulsion. Pour la sauver, Brandon décide de conduire une grève parmi les élèves...

Donna, trovata ubriaca al ballo di fine anno, riceve una punizione disciplinare e non può partecipare alla cerimonia di diploma. Anche la madre si rifiuta di stare dalla sua parte ma Brandon e gli altri decidono di battersi per la loro amica. Su suggerimento di Gil Meyers, pianificano di abbandonare in massa gli esami finali e di fare una dimostrazione davanti alla scuola.

Donna debe asistir a una junta disciplinaria que será la que decioda si la joven puede o no graduarse junto a sus compañeros. Brandon consigue, ante la oposición de Gil Meyers y de la madre de Donna, que todos sus compañeros se movilicen para hacer ver lo injusto que es, consiguiendo su objetivo. Dylan se plantea el estudiar en Berkeley. Brandon y Andrea hablan de la posibilidad de practicar sexo y la casa de los Taylor finalmente es vendida.
