The first of the new, "shorter" Chrontendo episodes is here. Ten games from January and February 1990: Chessmaster Roadblasters Infiltrator Kings of the Beach Cadillac Super Contra/Super C Nobunaga no Yabou: Sengouku Gunyuuden/Nobunga's Ambition II Mottomo Abunai Deka Dragon Quest IV/Dragon Warrior IV Arctic There are three real stinkers here, including the infamous helicopter sim/Metal Gear clone Infiltrator and the insanely annoying puzzle game Arctic. Also the Dragon Warrior IV section takes up almost half of the running time, so my apologies if you don't like JRPGs. errata: late in editing I realized I mispronounced Randy Stoklos' name and inexplicably referred to DQ IV's Ragnar as Raglan at one point. Also the Dragon Killer sword was incorrectly called "Zombie Killer."
The hugest episode of Chrontendo yet! Two JRPGs! Kunio-kun! Pinball games! Movie adaptations! Barrel-scraping kusoge from Bandai! This one's got it all. We finish up April 1990 and move onto May.
The long overdue new episode, covering May-June 1990!
Ten more games from June 1990. Mostly bad. Note: Beast Busters is included in the 1990 arcade roundup. Turns out I already covered it in the 1989 roundup. I decided to leave it in as a bonus.
Hope you like garbage because this episode is full of it. We actually have a bonus 11th game that got left out of an earlier episode. The "highlight" of this episode might be The Last Starfighter - a total rip-off of a game. But we also have a terrible Disney game from Capcom.
