Season 1

  • S01E01 Meet Paul

    Paul Lisnek has been collecting film and television props and memorabilia for decades and being also has an extensive collection of U.S. historical political items including signatures of almost every president and locks of hair from George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy. Paul also has original telephones used on "I Love Lucy" and "The Dick Van Dyke Show" as well as hats worn by both Laurel and Hardy. His brother Rick who has watched Paul amass his collection of his favorite passions over the years joins Paul. We've brought along Generalist Appraiser Kate Martin who will put an estimate on the value of Paul's extensive collection. And she's brought a document signed by John Hancock, which Paul doesn't have, in hopes of making a trade with him.

  • S01E02 Meet Rick

    Designer, author and artist, Rick Goldschmidt loved the toys of his youth so much, that as he grew older, he didn't give them away, but rather bought more as his budget allowed. And Rick has a collection that now literally covers every surface and wall of his entire house. Rick is joined by his son, Josh who is a collector himself, as he shows Lisa parts of his collection including some original Rankin Bass relics, Meego dolls, a limited edition coloring book given to children on the set of "The Dick Van Dyke Show" and a nearly complete set of Captain Action toys and displays. And we've brought along David Gutterman, owners of Quake Collectibles to appraise Rick's collection and perhaps make a trade with a vintage Kellogg's lunchbox from his own collection.

  • S01E03 Meet Deb

    Deb Hoffman doesn't just collect Winnie the Pooh items, she's in the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest collection of Winnie the Pooh items. The nearly 18,000 pieces are spread across two houses that are next door to each other. Her collection includes a Winnie the Pooh costume from the Walt Disney World theme park, a mint condition set of Agnes Brush Winnie The Pooh character stuffed animals from the 1940's, an autographed photograph of actor Sterling Holloway, the original voice of Winnie the Pooh, and a limited edition Winnie The Pooh telephone. She's joined by her husband Gary who has been instrumental in helping Deb amass the collection and keep it clean and displayed. Certified appraiser Judy Martin will value the collection for us and as a twist she's brought along a very special surprise for Deb instead of a trade.

    By day, Allen Singleton and his wife, Diana, run vintage toy franchise, Applejax Toys, but Allen’s love of toy collecting began almost 40 years ago. Allen has been collecting G.I. Joes since the 1980s, and now he has a basement filled with over 100,000 G.I. Joe collectibles to prove it. Lisa and general appraiser, Kate Martin, join the couple, as Allen shares his favorite items and vast knowledge of the “Real American Hero,” with exciting pieces such as a rare “silent” comic book, a first edition G.I. Joe action figure ready for space flight, and one of the largest toys ever produced - an aircraft carrier model that’s over 7 feet long! Kate appraises Allen’s expansive collection and offers Allen the chance to trade one of his beloved items from his childhood for a rare item in mint condition. Also, emotions run high, as Allen receives a sentimental message from one of his all-time heroes.

  • S03E12 Dave Arland: Star Trek

Since the 70’s he’s been an avid collector of not only screen-used props like Tribbles or even the space panel button from Kirk’s chair but has also amassed some amazing-looking replica items like the 3D chess set and Star Trek communicator that look as good as the real thing. Joining Dave today is his supportive wife Karen, who also likes Star Trek, just not as much as her husband. Our pop culture expert Mark Short will assess Dave’s collection and then offer him a trade-- his screen-used Star Trek prop, for one of Dave’s.

  • S03E13 Leslie Livingood: Paddington Bear

    You might say, Leslie Livingood lives, breathes, and collects Paddington Bears. Her lifelong obsession began at age 5 after she got her first Paddington at a garage sale. Leslie began collecting the British bear and never stopped. She shows Lisa some of her favorites, which include a personalized Paddington build-a-bear, blue line sketches from the Paddington cartoon, and a Paddington poster signed by Paddington author Michael Bond just days before he passed. Joining Leslie today is her husband James who knew Leslie and Paddington were a package deal. Kate Martin, an appraiser of personal property will value Leslie’s emotional and incredible Paddington collection and try making a trade with her, but it won’t be anything Leslie ever expected.

Dave celebrates comedians throughout the ages with a collection that appeals to all generations. Joining Lisa and Dave is Dave’s son and general manager of The Comedy Shrine, Patrick, and expert appraiser Judy Martin. Judy brings signed memorabilia from a famous comedy duo to trade, but our collector struggles to let go of a prized possession.

David’s daughter, Alex, briefly joins us to share her memories of traveling the world to watch her father’s favorite artists. As Lisa tours the collection, music expert and KISSTORIAN, DASHDOWN, works up an appraisal. And before DASHDOWN proposes a uniquely rare guitar to trade, Lisa shocks our collector with a shout out from one of the most influential rock artists of all time.

Now fueled by the thrill of the hunt, Nathan scours the country for neon signs and saves them from destruction. Nathan has a well-curated collection of antique oil cans, tin signs, and neon signs. Nathan shares some of his favorites with host, Lisa Whelchel, from a charming Reddy Kilowatt neon sign to a prop sign used in the classic baseball film, Field of Dreams. Kate Martin, appraiser of personal property, tackles the high sticker prices on Nathan's collection and shocks Lisa with her appraisal of an Oz-themed oil can. Nathan specializes in collecting advertising for soda brand, Double Cola, but Kate brings along a collectible set of Coca Cola signs to persuade our collector into a trade.

    Laurence Sheinman is bonkers about Bugs Bunny. For more than 35 years, Laurence and his wife Jessica have enjoyed huntin' rabbits together. Laurence's fabulous collection includes a Bugs bronze statue, roller skates, and a special blinged out jacket - not with Bugs' face on it, but some of our collector's other favorite Looney Tunes characters.
